CAYO COSTA STATE PARK FERRY

TROPIC STAR OF PINE ISLAND, INC. is the Official Concessionaire for Cayo Costa State Park.  We provide daily transportation, year round to Cayo Costa State Park.  Special water taxi service can be arranged on a charter basis from other nearby location pick-ups (by reservation and at the discretion of Tropic Star management).

Schedules may be changed without advance notice, Tropic Star is not responsible for delays/changes caused by weather conditions. Tides and wind patterns effect itineraries.

Additional scheduled service may be available during high season and Holiday travel dates. 

Special surcharge fees will apply to unscheduled service.  Note that Cayo Costa State Park requests arrival at the Park before 5:00PM.

If the above scheduled service does not meet your travel needs, additional water taxi service may be added with advance arrangements.

Roundtrip including taxes

ADULT $35.00

CHILD (12 yrs & Under) $25.00

Normal camper gear per passenger is allowed in the above fares. (*50lbs weight limit per person.)
Bicycles and kayaks and other oversized gear will have additional charges.
   Kayaks - $15.00 transport fee
   Bicycles - $10.00 transport fee
   Dogs - $20.00 transport fee
Transport of gear for non passengers is charged extra.
Marina parking charges are not included.
All rates and schedules are subject to change.
Campers MUST arrive 30 minutes prior to departure to guarentee passage.

 

DAY AT THE BEACH ON CAYO COSTA

Excellent shelling on seven miles of white sand beach. Swimming in the Gulf of Mexico. If you want to spend a day at the beach at Cayo Costa, you will need to bring a picnic lunch and beverages in a cooler. There are no stores or restaurants on Cayo Costa. There is a tram that takes you and your chairs, coolers, etc. from the Bayside to the Gulfside. The current entrance Fee to Park is $2.00 per person, children 6 years and under are free. Park fee includes tram to the beach.
